Kate is a qualified teacher (PGCE with QTS). She trained at a boys' state secondary school and then taught Physics full-time at a leading London independent day school for 14 years. Both schools gave her the opportunity to work with a wide range of students, to use a variety of teaching methods, and to develop many ways of tackling misconceptions and making Physics seem easy. Her favourite compliment came when a parent asked the school if she could make her lessons harder. She believes Physics is not a difficult subject if you find the right way to approach it, and the right person to guide you.
